When speaking with NetSuite end users, Klugo’s Solution Consultants have realised that some of them are not taking advantage of NetSuite’s mobile app available for both iOS and Android.

This app is especially useful for those working as Sales Representatives. This tip written by Klugo’s Solution Consultant Henry Sack, shows how to enable this feature to empower users in all levels of the organisation.

“Not only does the mobile app gives the ability for the users to create and submit Expense Reports while on the road, in the iPhone it also provides the ability to log phone calls made while using the app,” writes Henry.

Enabling Phone Calls Logging on iPhone

1. Tap on the profile icon on the top right to access the pop-up menu and click on the Settings button:

2. Under Phone Call Logging, enable either or both the following: Track Outbound Calls & Prompt to Log Call.

3. Select the contact that you wish to call. Once the call has been completed, a pop-up will prompt you to log.

4. The New Log Phone Call screen will give the ability to add additional details.

5. Once saved, the phone call will be logged against the record. The mobile app will also display all recent calls and the calls that have not been logged yet.
The NetSuite Mobile App is designed to enable users to stay informed anywhere in real-time and have in their hand the same functionality they would have on a desktop.

Sales Representative, for example, have instant access to all recent records and reports/saved searches. They also have access to their personal reminders to review and approve transactions and log CRM activities. KPIs and Scorecards can be monitored on the mobile interface, allowing for real-time information. Live information empowers the users to act in accordance to these KPIs using the scorecard data to leverage their activities.
